
Carmen has a longstanding passion for advocacy and justice. She has a BA in political science from UBC and a JD from the University of Calgary.
Prior to and during law school, she worked with organizations providing access to justice for low-income Albertans. She formed part of UC’s inaugural Public Interest Legal Clinic. She now practices family law in Vancouver and is an engaged community member, regularly volunteering her time in roles related to her profession and at her childrens’ schools.
She has been involved in advocacy for Palestine since 2021.
Saeed is involved in Palestine advocacy and focuses on working with and coordinating between the Muslim community and secular social justice movements.
Saeed works in the biotech industry as a software developer and is based in Surrey, BC. He developed the PalCal mobile app for iOS and Android that allows users around Vancouver to stay up to date with events related to Palestine.


Farhan, a scientist turned filmmaker, leads VoVo Productions. As an award-winning filmmaker, he is renowned for his work on indigenous rights and conservation.
